This vessel is a
typical, single screw Great Lakes harbor tug of riveted
steel construction having a model bow, molded hull and
rounded stern. The main deck is open aft for handling
of towlines. The vessel is equipped with a low profile
pilothouse and three quarter height raised trunk over
the machinery spaces. A crew’s berthing area is located
forward of the engine room, accessible via a watertight
door in the forward bulkhead of the engine room/lower
machinery space area and additionally accessible via a
stairway which leads to the galley located immediately
above the aforementioned berthing area.
